Astra

Originally manufactured in the Czech Republic for 20 years the Astra brand was purchased by the Gillette company in 1996 and production was moved to their St. Petersburg factory in Russia. In 2005 Gillette merged with Procter & Gamble, making Astra a brand of Procter & Gamble who continue to produce some of the most recognisable and highly regarded double edge razor blades on the market.
